I got sick of all this GD Disney Princess stuff so I decided to remake my 7 y.o. daughter in my image. She currently enjoys ice hockey, Half-Life (particularly setting zombies on fire), The Ramones, and Looney Tunes shorts as long as they're sufficiently violent. Anyhow, it seems to be working out ok - some boy was giving her a hard time at school so she waited until his back was turned and cracked him over the head with a miniature bowling pin that happened to be handy.

I happen to work for Disney (please no rotten fruit) and I don't get the whole Disney Wedding thing but as the peron earlier said everyone needs a little fairytale in their life...
I married my frog (he's French) and he did a wig fitting for a prince once but no Disney wedding as I get enough of Disney during the week, I really can't handle it on days off and weekends!!! I think the Disney bridal gowns are a rip-off!! and the kids dresses are cute but it is probably cheaper to buy a little girl a proper princess dress that she can wear again and pretend to be Snow White etc.
I'm sure the ghost of Walt will haunt me forever now.

My ever-so-pragmatic parents, who clearly didn't want to drop crazy cash on expensive flower girl dresses we'd never wear again, said, "You can be flower girls, but then we're not giving you piano lessons." At the time I DESPERATELY wanted piano lessons, and grudgingly chose those instead. I played for 9 more years and won some competitions in the process, but damn, I held that against my mom and dad for a loooong time!

I think some of these dresses are pretty and age-appropriate...but the rest, ouch. Strapless and/or ankle-length do not belong on children. And I love y'all for yoking Said and Disney in one sentence. And they say fashionistas aren't smart!

I was like, a professional flower girl as a kid, because my parents were both the oldest children in big families. My mom would find a white First Communion dress on sale, and make a sash from the leftover fabric when the bridesmaids got their alterations. My sister, cousins and I passed down a few of these over the years.

as for the dresses on the whole...meh. but as for disney wedding stuff in general, i gotta say that my disney wedding was the best decision i ever made. they did everything for me and for a pretty good price. no stress, no mess. the groom's no prince charming but he tries. and they made me feel like a princess for a day. sometimes a little "fairy tale" is ok.

As for the dresses, eh . . . I don't like kids in weddings. This is probably just leftover bitterness from when my aunt asked my sister to be a flower girl and not me. Even though we were a few years apart and my grandma was making the dresses. Biznatch could have had two flower girls. I was jealous almost to the point of murder that my sister got to carry a bouquet and I didn't. So I cried throughout the ceremony. I think I was only 3 or 4.
