What steals the show for me is that man-cow-chick-enigma interviewing her. What is that thing? And if it's going to be faux pas to point this out, that it looks like a football player dressed as a woman who is dressed as a man, then we shouldn't be talking about how Zellweger looks at all.

Rene Zelleweger has rosacea, a skin condition which worsens with age. It begins by a slight ruddiness to the face and can also involve burst blood vessels, pimples and other things. W.C.Fields had it, Bill Clinton has it. In men it usually makes their noses kind of bulbous and it is exacerbated by a number of things: exercise, hot drinks, red wine, spicy food... I had perfect skin until I neared 30 and now I have it too! I can't tell you why she squints, but I do know she has rosacea. Dr. Weill's skin serum sadly works best (sadly because it's $65 a bottle).

Hey there, I'm new here though I've been hanging out forever. My view on Renee is taht she's got it BAD for George Clooney and acts like a nutter whenever asked about him. I've been dying to say that forever . But i think it's true.
They have this 'long running friendship' she' get's all flustered and this overly protective/secret vibe whenever Georgie's name comes up. My guess? Unrequited love etc., etc.

I think she's really cute. I also hate the camera/editing. I hate those cut-to-cut-to-cut camera moves - they are disconcerting, and don't allow you to watch a person long enough to actually get a good sense of how they move/react - who they are.

I have always liked her. I hope she isn't anorexic.

Will you folks attributing her appearance to lifestyle choice check back in if/when she's diagnosed with scleroderma? Changes in skin color on the hands in one symptom. Starts with red, turns to blue. It's more common in women and more common in Scandinavian women. I won't go into the incurable autoimmune disease's progression because it's close to lunch. A person who is severely affected dies, slowly. I've seen it work, beginning to end.

Also, don't let this dicussion spread beyond this board. It could affect her ability to get insurance for work.

Renee is definitely ana...rexic. She was normal hollywood ana prior to filming the first Brigit Jones. She was disgusted by her size 6/8 frame while filming both Bridget Jones flicks and then got super, super, duper skinny. Alarminingly skinny. She's sickly. I would guess a mix of Topamax/Adderal/Botox and lots of running has gone to her head.

Some days she's attractive and some days she looks like a sour-puss hag....so I'm never certain which impression prompts the observation. Lupus, for instance, can damage your kidneys, and is treated with steroids, which can cause you to become wiry in the body, bloated in the face. Her hair also looks a little worse for wear, which is another symptom. And if she's sick,she may be afraid that publicizing it might hurt her chances of getting work.

I have to say, she looks way more normal when animated (ie. when you can see her face moving). In stills she looks super weird and awful, but in this clip I could kind of see why people cast her in movies.

Is that too mean? I mean, you guys just said she looks weird yourselves, didn't you? Okay, take out weird and insert puffy (and take out awful and put in... "interesting"). Don't axe me.

Honestly, she talks better than me after a glass of wine and a Xanax. More power to her. I think she's sweet.
