@brendastarlet: I beg to differ on Krall. When her debut CD came out, she was already garnering raves from respected jazz critics. Check out her Nat King Cole trio tribute album--some of her best stuff. She *has* become blander in recent years though...she's got terrific vocal and instrumental chops, but she's never been a strong songwriter (ditto for Norah Jones), and her collaborations with Costello are forgettable at best. I just think she needs to get back to her roots.

And she's not from Vancouver, she's from Nanaimo.

I love both of them, and think they're a great couple. But, I must admit that I was a little bit disappointed to find out that Diana was married. Her singing style is so intimate that it was a little bit of a let down to find out that she was married (to a man), and wasn't actually singing all of those sultry love songs to me. =(
