Late on September 5, 2007, Gainsbourg was rushed into a Paris hospital where she underwent surgery for cerebral haemorrhage. She had had headaches since a minor water skiing accident in the United States, a couple of weeks before.

Given this photo was taken today, I would presume she's recovered.
