That being said, I know nothing about music nor did I claim to. I also didn't see anything in any of those reviews about her "masturbating" or any reaction to her album that would have been perceived as "sexist," so that is probably why it is absent from the collected reviews. I don't think it is that strange to do a post about Erykah Badu on here, maybe we just like her!

A few years later, she was performing at the Greek Theater with Chico DeBarge opening for her. There was a light rain that evening. We paid $85 for tickets and she performed ONE song. Then she said, "It's raining y'all, I'm faded, so I'm going home," and walked off the stage. Then Chico came back out and held his own for another hour.

I will never buy another Badu album in my life.

By the way, my favorite is Black Cherry; I wrote off Seventh Tree at first but it has really grown on me since I heard it a few months ago. I think that it is a lot less immediate than anything they've ever done, but it reveals itself after a lot of listens. Which some may be unwilling to do; I dunno, I gave it a couple of chances and now it's my second-favorite Goldfrapp album.
