I am bored and really sick of these sad & desperate starlets looking for power and attention (what they wrongly believe is liberation) through sex. These pictures lack the class and natural, easy appeal of one Ms. Monroe. This crap is just another boring advertisement from another poorly misguided actress.

The MM look had a lot of curves (I like curves. The aforementioned "10 year old boy with boobs" look is kind of weird IMHO.) In the bed shots, if LL would have just had a pillow under her bottom or crimped up a bit more it would have given a curvier impression.

I, too have 34D's. And finally, at 47, after having one kid, my boobs sag this much. Yup. Too much time without a good support bra. But more than that, the angle was highly unflattering. The photographer could have angled her more toward the camera, and she would have looked far better. As is, he caught probably the LEAST flattering angle for a girl with big boobs.

I wish LL luck. I (have a kid, remember?) first saw her in Parent Trap and she's a genuinely gifted actress. Hopefully if she does more pix like this she'll do it with a better photog, and with more of an idea of what she's trying to convey.

My problem with the shoot is that the original Marilyn shoot was unflinchingly honest - her body, curvy and complete with surgery scars, her face still yearning and sexy but also tired and out of it with the unflattering heavy eye makeup. And Marilyn must have seen the disconnect there too - when she was sent a the contact sheets of the shoot, she sent back most of them with Xs through most of them and some were even scratched out with a pin.

With LiLo's pictures, her body looks fine, and I love her unretouched freckles! But the wig is awful and an unflattering color, her eye makeup is so harsh, her eyes look dead, and she gives off a tense uncomfortable vibe when she looks right in the camera. I think the Vanity Fair pictures were more flattering with her as a redhead with pale skin. I wish she could have lost the blonde wig and just been herself, or a more becoming version of herself.

Did you read what I wrote? I said that LiLo was the one of the last real child stars. I wasn't equating drugs or posing nude with Fanning's rape scene. I was comparing Lilo with Fanning strictly on the basis of child stardom. Lilo's Disney movies may have been comedies, but they were challenging parts that showed her talents as an actress and still managed to be family friendly and age appropriate all at once. In the "Parent Trap," she played twins, one of which had a British accent that she pulled off flawlessly. In "Freaky Friday" she played a teenager and her 40+ year old mom trapped in her body. In "Herby," she played opposite a car, and she carried all of these films, that made tens of millions at the box office, without having to resort to the precocious child stereotype that's become all too prevelant today. No one's checking for Dakota unless she's opposite Denzel, Sean Penn, whoever, and she's playing her usual 35 year old disguised as a pre-teen persona, but Lilo didn't have to go that rout to make bank at the box office. She could just act her age and the people would come out. That's rare for a child star and why I still believe she's special despite her troubles.
