Bags are wonderful. They're colourful, they're useful, you can wear them no matter how difficult it is to squeeze into the rest of your clothes post-christmas. Ok the whole gigantic-bag trend is probably not that clever for the back, but if size is kept in moderation and we ditch this obsession with stupidly expensive bags (I will pay good money for a quality Furla but you can't convince me of the inherent worth of a Mulberry), bags can be expressive and democratic avenues for style enhancement.
