A few years ago, we slept in the car on a B-Road in Scotland. In the morning, the car was surrounded by literally hundreds of sheep, it was surreal.

@braak: Oh my god the fainting goats! My family had a '3 G's Day' a few years ago: Geyser, Goats, Golf. We admired a natural geyser but got bored quickly so ended up hanging out by the fainting goat pen for like 40 minutes shouting and trying to get them to faint. Poor little guys... so sad yet so cute!

@mbprice: That's freaking adorable. I would not be able to leave.

Unrelated (except that it has to do with goats) but I went to this farm for a fall festival, and they had this contaption rigged up where you could put some corn in a cup and use a pulley to hoist it up to this platform. Then the goats would climb up on this convoluted series of wooden beams and eat from the can. Serious entertainment. My girlfriend had to literally pull me away from it because she wanted to go do the corn maze. Spoil sport.

I feel like there has to be some logical explanation for this, like some drunk farmer was out driving around in circles in his field, and there was a bag of grain in the back of his truck that was leaking. This has to be food related, as sheep think only of eating and screwing.

In a related story, I used to have a pet sheep who figured out how to open gates on our farm and let the cows out. One day she was just gone, and a few weeks later we mysteriously had lambchops in our freezer. My parents were so busted. It took me years to get over it.
