Hot lights melt regular makeup, and they also wash out all the color, so stage actors look like FrankenPeople when you see them up close. BTW, one of my ex-girlfriends (actual girl on girl dating, not just two girls who are friends) was a Deborah fanatic. She made me drive her from Athens, Georgia, to Birmingham, Alabama so we could see Miss Deborah play (ahem!) Rizzo in a stage production of Grease. We waited by the stage door afterwards and actually got to meet her! She is totally short... like 5 foot 1 or something, and her nose was HUGE. But I liked it. She was really nice (not fake nice) and signed all the autographs and posed for all the pictures. Somewhere out there is a photo of me and Debbie Gibson against a concrete wall! Sad that she felt the surgery was necessary, cuz it wasn't.

One of my friends in high school had a birth defect on her face and had to get A LOT of plastic surgery to balance out her face & try to make her look more "normal".
