Whoops, Nasty Gal Thought Taylor Swift Wore One of Their Designs

White goddess of music Taylor Swift wore a white cutout jumpsuit to this year’s Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Nasty Gal originally claimed it as theirs. Swift was actually dressed in Balmain.

Coincidentally, there’s a Nasty Gal jumpsuit that closely resembles Swift’s BBMA look. So much so that someone at Nasty Gal thought it was their design and posted a (since-removed) side-by-side shot of Swift with one of their models to Instagram.

The caption: “One piece wonder @taylorswift in the #NastyGal Frisco Inferno Jumpsuit at the @officialbbmas #NastyGalsDoItBetter.”

The outfit itself isn’t that exciting, though it’s cute. As Julianne put it:

Taylor Swift is here, in white, in pants. I love pants. This is fine.

While the “Bad Blood” singer’s jumpsuit clearly was not a Nasty Gal original, that hasn’t stopped Swift-style enthusiasts from jumping at the opportunity to own a similar version of her jumpsuit at a sliver of the price. The $78 knockoff is completely sold out, although the same version in black is still available.
