Who Is 'Good Enough' For Susan Sarandon?

In an interview with The New York Post, Jonathan Bricklin commented on his recent breakup with Susan Sarandon.

I loved her dating me, and I never felt embarrassed for her dating me. What I felt was, the general public and maybe her family or friends maybe felt that I wasn’t good enough for her.

The couple, both co-owners of a chain of ping pong clubs called SPiN, didn’t often speak publicly about their relationship, so it’s surprising that Bricklin mentioned the breakup at all – let alone something as specific as “her family or friends maybe felt that I wasn’t good enough for her.”

So. I would like to ask “the general public and maybe her family and friends” one question: Who is good enough for Susan Sarandon? Who is good enough for the woman who clasped the hand of Geena Davis before driving off into the Grand Canyon in a daring act of friendship and love? Who is good enough for the woman who selflessly gave spiritual guidance to Sean Penn as he awaited his execution? Who is good enough for the woman who packed up her old Mercedes and drove Natalie Portman from the middle of nowhere to Los Angeles so she could thrive? Who is good enough…for a Banger Sister?

The answer is: no one I can think of offhand. So cool off, “general public and maybe her family or friends”! Susan and Jonathan can play ping pong with whomever they want. We can all play ping pong with whomever we want.
