Watch Janelle Monae Moonwalk At the NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show

OK, there’s a lot more going on in this video of the halftime performance the 2014 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday than just Janelle Monae moonwalking, and all of it is pretty awesome.

This insaneamazingmindblowingWHATTHEHELLKINDOFMAGICAMIWATCHING halftime show featured Trombone Shorty with Doctor John, Gary Clark Jr., Monae,
and Earth, Wind & Fire. I am pretty sure this specific combination of names has triggered some kind of opening of a doorway into an alternate dimension where we will all find peace and beauty, an end to all wars and human suffering and possibly an endless supply of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. (Oh, and if you’re really impatient, Monae starts moonwalking right at about 7:45 and it is glorious.)

So we’re in agreement—halftime shows are kind of getting a whole lot better these days, yeah?
