In this monologue, Cryer says, "Those words were very painful to me for many reasons, not the least of which is…the fact is I am a troll." Unlike our friend Spencer Ackerman, I am not a "reporter." I just write stuff on the Internet. Of course, a real reporter would probably view the opportunity to interview Condoleezza Rice as a chance to ask her in-depth questions about the ongoing and increasingly bloody war in Afghanistan, how it feels to be running an agency that she once successfully marginalized when attempting to execute two wars in the White House or how, as a scholar, she would view the distinct shift in direction this Administration has made on foreign policy. Or, you could be like Politico scribe Mike Allen and ask her about football and her celebrity crushes! Trolls are small, pudgy, genital-free humanesque figures that were a momentarily interesting phenomena. They were also cute little dolls when I was a kid. Some trolls, however are worse then others. As Wired reports, the trolls on AutoAdmit.com, a college-admissions discussion board, are wannabe lawyers with extremely small genitals and extremely large inferiority complexes who think appropriate posts include statements like "Women named Jill and Hillary should be raped" and rants about sexual histories that, had they paid more attention in class than to the women who won't fuck them, they might have recognized as libelous or threatening in a prosecutable way. So, they're being sued by two legally anonymous Yale Law students whose reputations — and careers — were tarnished by the nasty and false postings. More »

Lori Drew has been indicted! (We totally want to marry the California courts today.) The Los Angeles feds have indicted the Missouri mom who masterminded the MySpace hoax that led 13-year-old Megan Meier to hang herself on charges of fraud and conspiracy in a case that probably has some... interesting First Amendment implications! But whatever, we are generally satisfied. Lori Drew, who created a fake MySpace profile for a 16-year-old named "Josh Evans" and used it to fuck with Megan in retaliation for ending her friendship with her daughter, has yet to speak up for herself, but every time we think, "Just leave her alone already," someone else speaks out with another testimonial to her shittiness.
