Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah were on Today this morning, promoting their new flick Joyful Noise, and when Ann Curry asked how hip-hop and country work together, Dolly answered by rapping as Latifah provided a beat. It was amazing.
The interview was also awesome; after Ann declared Dolly to be honest, and Latifah called her "earthy," Dolly exclaimed, "I am the most artificial-looking thing, to be so earthy!" She also graciously (and erroneously) claimed she's not a natural beauty.
Last, but not least: The Queen and Dolly sang a gospel number from the movie and Al Roker got the spirit!
