@flareandglare: How does one know if they have too much estrogen? Too much testosterone? I think I have too much testosterone based on some male qualities I have but not sure. Can an increase in estrogen cause a decrease in testosterone?
@Gráinne: Rumors about dairy, or rumors about dairy from cows that were given artificial hormones? I try to stick to organic dairy products, but I don't think I would be willing to give them up completely!
@Angelina Scarangella: Too much testosterone can cause the hair on your head to thin and fall out, the hair on your face to come in dark, and other physical symptoms. There's a blood test your doctor can run. The normal level of testosterone for a female is around 70 ng/dl. When I was tested, my testosterone level was 99 ng/dl.
@flareandglare: BPA apparently mimics estrogen in the body, so you may want to look at any possible sources of BPA in your diet and try to cut them out.
Main source that nobody thinks about: canned foods. The can lining contains BPA, which leeches into the food.
Google isn't being encouraging... it looks like I'm headed for a life of misery.
