Sonja Morgan loses a tooth and after a big fight at a cocktail party Aviva Drescher's prosthetic leg winds up on the floor, detached from her body. These women are literally falling apart. And it looks fabulous.

It's been a long time since we last saw The Real Housewives of New York City (the last episode of season five aired in October 2012). In fact, season six almost didn't happen at all after a lengthy, tense standoff during contract negotiations led to a delay in production. After being given an ultimatum, the women finally returned for filming—except for Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. She didn't sign her contract in time, so she's absent from the first three episodes of the season.

The result is that the Countess is no longer a full-time Housewife, but a recurring cast member. According to an interview with E!, she's fine with that:

She'd rather spend more of her time on her upcoming women's apparel line Countess Collection and pursuing more acting gigs.

The show returns to Bravo on March 11.
