ALARMS WEDDING BELLS. The feeling that's welling up inside you is one of shock and excitement, as Us Weekly is reporting that "sources" say Mary-Kate Olsen and her boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, are to be wed.
Details are scarce, save that Us makes it very clear from the headline of their story that there is a large age difference between the two. While an engagement was reported in Star last year, this time, it's REAL. In a separate story from December illustrated with a photo of Olivier holding Mary-Kate tenderly as if she was his child, Us reported that Mary-Kate "wasn't sure" about marriage but that she would like to have children. The two live together in New York City, the city of lovers.
Us also wants you to know that Mary-Kate's sister Ashley is dating an older man too:
Incidentally, the fashion designer's twin sister, Ashley, is also dating an older man. Following her split from David Schulte, she has been spending time with Moneyball director Bennett Miller, who is 20 years her senior.
We still don't have any details about what family dinners are like for Mary-Kate, Olivier and Olivier's two children, ages 10 and 12, of whom is not that much smaller than Mary-Kate. And we can only speculate about whether Nicolas and his wife Carla Bruni like to double date with Mary-Kate and Olivier. The answer is obviously yes, but details about what they all like to do together would be welcome and are hopefully forthcoming.
