That Time Jack Nicholson Sort of Tried To Seduce Jennifer Lawrence

You remember that “adorable” (pervy, weird, skeevy?) moment when Jack Nicholson interview-bombed Jennifer Lawrence last year at the Oscars to fawn over her and tell her “I’ll be waiting“?

“You did such a beautiful job. I didn’t mean to cross into your interview but I had to congratulate you,” Nicholson told Lawrence, 23, as he interrupted. Before walking away, he interjected “I’ll be waiting,” because EWW WHY.

Ohhhh it turns out he wasn’t exactly kidding. The 76-year-0ld actor apparently sent the starlet flowers and Cristal after the Oscar-night incident. *HOLDS BACK VOMIT FROM MOUTH*

“He sent me some flowers and a bottle of Cristal and a note that said ‘Missing you already,'” Lawrence told ABC News’ Bianna Golodryga. “Not to brag.”

Yes, not to “brag” about the time Hollywood’s sexual Darth Vader tried to lure you to the dark side with flowers and booze. “I should have probably kept that a secret so it could just be between me and Jack,” she said in the ABC interview.

But she didn’t keep it a secret and that’s why she’s basically awesome.
