Did she think the kittens would dance on cue? Or rather chew the rhinestones off her dress, climb the curtains, hide under the stage, and eat the confetti. And the doves.
U2 nerd alert: Hamish Hamilton directed the Live from Boston DVD. It's well-filmed, well-edited, and the behind-the-scenes is funny. Maybe the Oscars will have a little more life in them this year...
Huh, I actually interpreted the description above of Amy Winehouse's dad as his implying she possibly had a leaky heart valve, not a leaky implant. Especially with the earlier reports that she was hospitalized because of a bad reaction to cold medicine. Cold medicine is known to exacerbate existing heart issues...
How slow am I that I just figured out yesterday that Robert Pattinson was Cedric Diggory.
Also, Jerry Seinfeld...um, what? Can someone parse that statement likening marriage to the Iraq war for me? Does he mean it's a endeavor predicated on a series of lies perpetuated by the Bush administration that costs thousands of lives and will never end?
@willwriteforfood: Don't worry sweetie. I caught Harry Potter, Part 25 on HBO last night and almost lost it when they showed that part. Guess he isn't that memorable unless he sparkles.
@willwriteforfood: WHAT! You have rocked my world! I knew RP looked familiar! That and his whole brooding english drunky/slob vibe make me like him more and more.
@Daniele: I actually thought he was one of the most memorable parts of that Harry Potter movie, but that was largely because he and Daniel Radcliffe had better chemistry together than anyone else on screen.
"Andy Richter Controls the Universe" was one of the few bright little lights that justified television's existence.I get sad every time I think about it.
@BabyJane: Also, white kittens make me sad because in New Zealand they are very likely to get skin cancer due to our high levels of UV light in summer. It's this whammy of 'You're so PRETTY! - um, you're probably going to get cancer and die, I shouldn't get attached.'
@BabyJane: It is sad. I had a very sweet white and grey cat, Rose, who went that way. I don't regret getting her, because she was a wonderful pet, but I wouldn't get another.
You *can* put sunscreen on their noses and ears, the most vulnerable areas, but they're *cats*, so it's hard to stop the washing it off.
Someone needs to explain to Kirsten Dunst that most of the stuff in the middle of the country is NOT located on the side of a highway.
It sounds like that was the extent of her trip, which means she saw nothing but a bunch of Flying Js, Cracker Barrels and Hampton Inns. What a shitty road trip.
Just skimming the headline I though it said "Amy's implants are demanding kittens" and I actually paused trying to figure out if you meant that she actually had demanding kittens implanted in her chest. Or that her implants speak to her and they want pet kittens. And then I reread the headline and realized where I went wrong.

The phrase raining cats and dogs is not meant to be taken literally.
