    I don't understand why stores can't carry, like five, of every size. That way no one is left out. It's ridiculous.

    The AT and ATLoft thing is already happening. Most of their stores carry up to a 14 in most styles, 12 for others. And they are full of it, the sale racks are always full of the smallest sizes, not the larger ones.

    @Hooplehead: So true! There are always so many size 0 and 2 clothes left on the clearance racks, and like three things in size 14 and 16. I hope they lose business from doing this; it's not fair to banish people to the internet because of their size.

    @Hooplehead: This happens at SO many stores. There seems to be pretty widespread denial of how many people are looking for different sizes. I am broke and shop at Old Navy a lot, and every time I look through the clearance rack it's literally 80% XS and S.

    They also did the relegate-the-plus-sizes-to-the-internet thing, but I will forgive them because it is the only place I can find pants that fit me.

    @dissolver: How many pairs of pants do you have to buy to find one that fits you? I can't even find pants that fit right in a store (this is why I wear dresses everyday; also because they are pretty).

    @Hooplehead: I think it depends where you live. In my local AT and ATLoft you can never find 0's or 2's on the sale rack, only 10-14. Ditto for all department stores. I live in DC though and there are a ton of college students so that may be why.

    Is it really that hard to stock a few size 16's? It's hard enough to find clothes that fit when you can try them on before you buy; it is kind of annoying (and more expensive) to have to order everything you are interested in, try it on, and send back what you don't want. It's like they are trying to keep size 16 women out of the stores because they don't want to look at them or something...

    @save_jinger: Truly, for me, I won't buy something I can't try on (too many chances of it looking poorly). They just lost my business. (which is sad, because I love their clothes.)

    @save_jinger:

    Every time I go shopping, I look to my mom or boyfriend (whoever I convince to come with me, they are the most honest people) and say, "skinny bitches" when I can't find a size 14/16. Yet, there are over 15 size 0's - 4's. I live in Texas, SOUTH TEXAS FOR THAT MATTER! We have a need for big hipped clothes. This is why I go to New York and Company and just get size 16 where everything fits perfect on my hips. I don't feel embarassed about my normal hips.

    @TXTeacher: It's so annoying to go into a new store and realize that they don't sell anything that fits you. I love my body and need clothes that will fit it, preferably cute ones. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, so...

    Sorry Peaches. Those pictures don't make me feel any better about my average body than those using "anorexic models".

    Don't worry Michelle. Skipping an awards ceremony is no big deal. I plan on sending a proxy to the Doritos awards on my behalf since it conflicts with "Gossip Girl."
