    i never really liked jennifer, she squealled too much and overused 'like' and 'totally' which generally grated on my nerves. and she always looks like shes trying to catch flies in her mouth in her pictures.

    ive been team nicole from the first episode, but laura has always been my second favorite. i think nicole SHOULD win and has more potential, but i wont be upset either way (as much as one can get upset over the results of a mediocre reality tv show). i think i like nicole because she seems really determined and thoughtful, but isn't arrogant (like erin was). #americasnexttopmodelhulahiphop

    @OneTwoPunch: I don't know about that. I watched the premiere episode of a "Bachelor"-style show called "A Double Shot at Love" where bisexual identical twins tried to find a boyfriend or girlfriend for each of them. The contestants were brought onto the program in crates labeled "BOYS" and "GIRLS" that were dangled from helicopters. The twins took turns talking to the contestants the first night, wearing the same dress and leading the contestants to believe that there was only one woman they were competing for. At the end of the evening they did a Big Reveal.

    It was so bizarre I got too uncomfortable watching it to follow the series. (And I'll watch "Celebrity Rehab" and "Tool Academy," just so you get an idea of where my trash-TV comfort level lies.) #americasnexttopmodelhulahiphop

    I like Laura as a person and all but... her photo was absolutely awful. I know they set it up every season to make a certain girl (usually the most boring IMHO) win the competition, but wow... they couldn't have found a better shot of Laura? She had MAJOR crazy eyes in that photo, it sure wasn't pretty.
    And I know for damn sure Nicole had a much better picture than the one they picked somewhere in her reel. I get fed up of the manipulation... though I should just expect it by now.

    WEAK, Tyra, just WEAK.

    The "hula hip-hop" was ridiculous. There wasn't any integration of the two dance styles, just hula to hula music followed by a record-scratch sound effect and hip-hop to hip-hop music. And the hip-hop resembled stripper moves more than anything else. It was stupid even by ANTM standards. #americasnexttopmodelhulahiphop

    @JessaFields: My favorite part of the show is when they show the Seventeen cover prize. They show last cycle's winner on the magazine, and then within a second and a half, they immediately cover it up with a Seventeen cover with an actual celebrity. Even on their own show, no one cares.     @rodmanstreet: I joked about that the first time I noticed it but then I realized why they do it. Happen to notice that they're replacing it with the current issue of the mag? The ANTM issue comes out months before the show airs, at which point a different issue is on the stands. She would be a great addition to the panel as she does stage runway shows on a regular basis and knows models (and used to be one too).     @EkaterinaBallerina: I watched her reality show for 2 seconds (okay, hours) and she is really amazing with her kids. She makes them "earn" their privileges and she's so patient and loving--I just adore her for that. Plus, the woman has serious business acumen.

    @hortense: None of the winners have had landmark success, but many of the contestants have gone on to successful careers in modeling. I noticed in recent seasons that they've been trying to highlight what past contestants have been up to. It's almost as if they are responding to their detractors by saying "See! We DO produce working models!"

    @EkaterinaBallerina: I noticed last night, though, that one of the success stories looked incredibly suspect. They kept listing different places she's been working, while showing one series of photos that were for one particular brand throughout. Then they said "and she's modeled Gusto on the international runways!" or something like that, then invited us to enter a Cover Girl sweepstakes to win a free Gusto handbag (like they do every week). I don't think working two jobs, including one for a show sponsor, really works.
