@SUNNY1: Pet hoarders often become SO overwhelmed they don't even have time to bury the dead - and a lot of their cats get sick and die just because they're part of HUGE packs of possibly diseased animals trapped off the streets - I am so gonna cry - so they put the bodies in the freezer.
Better than the hoarder (stuff) that LOST a pet under all her crap and the "helpers" and counselors found it during the dig (8000 pounds of garbage).
@sybann: oh dear god. Thanks for your explanation, because I was really confused and was imagining kitty steaks or something. :-/
That's horrible about pet hoarders and their cats. Especially the 8000 pounds of garbage story. Poor, poor cat.
Also, I should have used the correct term of "pet hoarders" instead of "cat ladies", huh? My bad!
@SUNNY1: I want a farm! You too btw - and go rescue. I swear they know and are truly grateful and loyal - unless they really really want what's on the counter.
@badmutha: I love (at 6:50) when Bailey has given up rummaging through the trashcan, Charlie gives him a friendly swat/pat as if to say,
Dude, give it another go, one more looksie.
My beloved Eleanor Roosevelt Rigby ______ spends much of her day planning the assasination of my husband, and her takeover of the world. She's like the Stewie of cats, but was like this long before Family Guy. Eleanor is at least 17.
Eleanor is a founding member of the National Cat Network, which is like the IRA of cats. They keep an eye on cat haters around the globe, and plot revenge. The NCN also advances the causes of cats wherever and whenever they can.
Napping is a small part of her day, but she is soooooo cute when she does it!
@NewsBunny: I'm fairly sure I'm going to wake up one night to find my cat Ira hovering over me holding a knife- payback for the lion cut he suffered with last year.
@NewsBunny: See, I think this is where Ira and Eleanor differ. She thinks the big picture, and has a noble goal in mind. Ira just wants to eat and do and get as matted as he wants.
And thanks! I love Ira's name too (Eleanor is another great name, BTW). I'm a fan of serious people names for cats. I know in Ira's case, this seemed particularly necessary as he's such a foufy, princess looking kitty. The woman we got him from named him Buster- AWFUL!
Yo, who put the hidden camera in my house (video 2)?! Yes, napping is my favorite hobby. I even have a postcard in my kitchen which reads, "Damn right I'm good in bed. I could sleep all day long."
Also video 3 is shocking because I expected more action--such as fur flying, paw swatting, howling--between Ceiling Cat and Basement Cat.
The pets i had as a kid did this. Kitty got on counter and knocked things on the floor or pulled them out of the cabinets (smart, wily, street wise kitty), stupid little Yorkie sat onfloor and ate the profits.
@TheFormerJuneBronson: My cat enjoys unrolling all of the toilet paper in the house and then shredding and eating it. From the looks of things, this occupies 51% of his day.
