We had this in New Zealand too. Then the lady wondered why she was charged. Ah because of the possible harm you could have caused to other people, and the deterrent factor of charging you with drunk driving? #marystrey

@GoldenRatioφ (aka -girl11): I just found out that it is legal in California to talk on your cell phone while driving IF you are using the cell phone to report an accident or a traffic hazard such as a drunk driver. Who knew? #marystrey
