If your current partner (boyfriend, husband, fuck buddy, WHATEVER) would be stupid enough to ask you how many sexual partners you've had and you happen to give him/her a greater number than the # of partners he has had, then you're a slut.
Person asking = x
You = y
If sexual partners is Z, and y(z)>x(z), Y is a slut.
Sorry the more wine I drink, the easier it is for me to explain shit in a mathematical sense.

Slut isn't a number, it's a state of mind.

And I'll be taking that!
ithankyou!

Why is it when it is a young girl say 14 or 15 maybe even 16 sleeping around with a bunch of random guys or men feminists (and conservatives) love to jump on the same slut stereotypes of she must have a bad relationship with her father or her father must have abandoned her, she must have low self esteem, etc. Isn't it at all possible that a 14 year old heck even a 13 year old might just love to have them some sex and want to share that love with as much people as possible. Why must the girl always have some kind of issues?

I think it's certainly possible that a girl (or guy) might just really like sex at that age.
I think the reasons it gets "red-flagged" have mostly to do with the choices people make at these ages and the likelyhood of not fully understanding the risks. Additionally, the (general) numbers, historically, point to women beginning to enjoy sex (or to be able to have regular orgasms with partners), in their early 20s.
Maybe that's a function of self-reporting. Maybe it's semantics. Maybe its the lack of attentive partners. I would be the last one to say a girl's a "slut because she's got issues," but it's easier for a lot of people to latch onto than to acknowledge the obvious:
I mean, your hormones (M and F) are going nuts, you are becoming a much more social creature, and you're beginning to explore the notion of autonomy and assert yourself as a young adult. Add all this together, and there's bound to be controversy. Parents think it's scary as hell because they don't want to see their kids hurt, and teens think their parents are just too old to understand, and should get off their backs.
That said, there's defininately clinical support for a line of thinking that personal anxiety can manifest itself as sexual "acting out," and that if the anxiety is present during these critical stages of development, people can be more susceptible to reactions resulting from it.

If a 13-year-old boy is having sex, I'd say yeah, he's probably got some issues at home, too. But at the very least he's cumming. Probably not true for a young teen girl.

People (especially boys!) are always surprised by this, which I find a bit depressing. The idea being that if you're outgoing, good-looking, confident and sexual, that means you must sleep around. Such narrow confines! Morals AND fun can go together!

Also, isn't the Good Promiscuous Life only really enjoyed by the attractive? If you're physically unremarkable you're probably not getting laid enough to relish your decision to be very open to casual sex. It seems to me sex columns either have to do with boring married sex made spicy again (do it BEFORE dinner and Seinfeld this time!), sexual dysfunction or the lives and habits of pretty people.

Besides I rather not be like my mom.
Granted I watch a lot of porn( maybe as much as a guy does).

All of my kids fathers contribute to their lives in substantial ways.
(I picked good ones)
In my case, my kids are their fathers *only* children, so each child has the undivided support of their respective fathers.
I see this as a benefit. I get four children with my genes (ha!) and their dads only have to support one child each.
The disadvantages are mostly social, and I don't live with any of the fathers (no man at all right now, don't want one)
But I always have to laugh when I hear someone going off on "the kind of woman that has x kids with x dads" because I'm educated, my kids are well-taken care of, I'm not poverty-stricken, we don't do drugs, and I've never been promiscuous. (serial monogamy is my pattern)
So I think I've been a pretty smart monkey in the evolutionary pass-on-your-genes and make-sure-your-children-thrive game.
hybrid vigor, FTW ;-)

You could team up with Erykah Badu (3rd baby by 3rd daddy) and be all "kiss my placenta!". I bet she has the best thanksgiving parties.
