this fight comes courtesy of Linda Hirschman. i believe Rudy sided with her on some beliefs, and obviously hates Jezebel, and Winston has taken great issue with this.

OH MY GOD, would you PLEASE check out the brief interval around 0:10 and 0:11 where Rudy and Winston alternate on punching each other so hard in the face you actually hear a little "BIFF!" sound!?

If you've seen Rich's other videos, you've probably seen these two cats get along pretty well--I mean, they sleep curled up together and they groom each other. But cats play weird little dominance/mindgames with each other, even when they live together and are like BFF. I can't blame Rude and Win for tussling a little. They're not really hurting each other - they're just being cats.

@tscheese: Oh dear lord, I winced when I heard that THWACK.

My cats do this often. I should consider investing in a camera and vlogging their antics. Also hilarious are the times when they thunder across the house so furiously that the neighbors complain of the noise. OF CAT FEET! JEEZ!

@Anna: I have seriously gotten more complaints about my cat stampedes than I have about my (somewhat rowdy) twin 6-year-olds.

The kids understand the concept of "OH MY GOD, PLEASE STOP STOMPING BEFORE WE GET EVICTED, YOU LITTLE SHITS". The cats, however, just stare at me balefully for a moment, give me the finger (even though they haven't any fingers), and keep rumbling.

It's epic.

They can glide stealthily and silently when they actually try, but my parents' cats can produce an unholy thunder that can be heard all over the house. They seriously make their tiny, soft feet into GIANT LEAD WEIGHTS or something. There are very few things louder than a cat who has decided to stomp.
