@AllieCaulfield: I feel like it would devolve into a big heaping pile of poo..and then her poor kid would be exposed to the media vultures. I think the ONE thing she has done right is managing to keep the kid out of the tabloids so far!
i'm preparing to avenge the rabbit's death. this story really pissed me off, bc it is the most awful, dick thing to do to any animal. if this story is true, next time their tour van + bus is parked outside the popular chicago radio rap station (across the street from my place)- i will be watching...waiting. i'm calculating.
Who are the celebrity Ghostwriters? Jamal's dead grandfather who was awakened from a book in the basement when Jamal and his grandma were doing some cleaning? Do the celebrity Ghostwriters help solve the mystery of THABTO? Are the celebrity Ghostwriters friends with a multiracial group of highly literate children from New York City?
So I click "Order," and I get an error message: "Comcast cannot complete your order right now, please call customer service!" By this point I was really randy for some RPatz ogleage. So I called customer service to report an error with my OnDemand service. Then the customer service rep asked the question I was dreading: "What was the title you tried to watch?" I was so effing embarrassed...until the lady said, "Hey, don't be embarrassed, I saw that movie in the theater!"
Words cannot express how much I love T.I. His music is by far the greatest strutting soundtrack that has ever or will ever be made. Plus I sort of want to kiss him.
I appreciate William H Macy's sentiment, but would love to point out to him that not all new parents are movie stars or wealthy enough to pay a babysitter and get out of town for a few days.
Hell, we haven't even been able to afford to hire a babysitter and go out to dinner. For 10 months. Reality is a bitch sometimes, but our marriage is doing fine.
@gangey: I sit for my friends' kids for no charge. They do a lot to help me in other ways, it really works out. Plus I get to be around the kids and play with them. And eat their food, can't forget that, a big plus because they stock things I'd never keep in the house.
I guess it might be hard to ask for unpaid babysitting time, if they don't volunteer, though. Maybe you could quietly complain that you really need some date time, but can't afford a sitter, and see what happens.
I don't know what the going rate for babysitting is but last time I checked it was about $5 an hour, yeah that could be a lot to add to the cost of a night out. But still cheaper than a lawyer -
@DidSomeoneSayCookie?: It's not really the sitter we can't afford, so much as the fact that my husband works two jobs and would have to skip a shift for us to do a date on a weekend night, which is usually about $100. So, factor in $15 for a sitter, plus at least $20 for whatever we decide to do (unless we just drive somewhere and sit in the car), and you are talking at least $135, which is a lot more than we spend on 2 weeks of groceries.
Luckily, the baby goes to bed at 7:00 now, so when hubby gets home from work we usually have a nice homecooked dinner and then some good sex at least 3 times a week or so. We are doing great... I guess my point was that if you don't have the $$ to "get away" you can still have a great marriage, even if you have one of those terrible, marriage killing babies.
@Mkp-hearts-NYC: yes, it's considered cruel to pointlessly kill an animal and leave it there-dead. hunting for food or trophy is one thing, in areas where it is allowed and you have to be a registered hunter/use registered weapons. depending on where it happened the use of firearms could even be prohibited. depending on the type of rabbit it may be protected. all kinds of laws there. and all kind of angry from par3. i will avenge his death.
Say what you will about Madonna being an egomaniacal histrionic with a messiah complex, but David, her adopted child, is so fucking cute he makes my Fallopian tubes tingle.
I think it is kinda cool that a celebrity is wearing stuff from an Etsy designer. Now if she would only pay for it. The people who sell through Etsy are not like Prada or Versace that can afford to give away their clothes in exchange for publicity.
@vamusical: Embroider a charming tote bag with pictures of kittens on it with the remaining shreds of Ms. Love's relevance/career? THE WORLD WANTS TO KNOW!
