    Huh, I actually interpreted the description above of Amy Winehouse's dad as his implying she possibly had a leaky heart valve, not a leaky implant. Especially with the earlier reports that she was hospitalized because of a bad reaction to cold medicine. Cold medicine is known to exacerbate existing heart issues...

    How slow am I that I just figured out yesterday that Robert Pattinson was Cedric Diggory.

    Also, Jerry Seinfeld...um, what? Can someone parse that statement likening marriage to the Iraq war for me? Does he mean it's a endeavor predicated on a series of lies perpetuated by the Bush administration that costs thousands of lives and will never end?

    @Daniele: I actually thought he was one of the most memorable parts of that Harry Potter movie, but that was largely because he and Daniel Radcliffe had better chemistry together than anyone else on screen.

    @BabyJane: Also, white kittens make me sad because in New Zealand they are very likely to get skin cancer due to our high levels of UV light in summer. It's this whammy of 'You're so PRETTY! - um, you're probably going to get cancer and die, I shouldn't get attached.'

    @BabyJane: It is sad. I had a very sweet white and grey cat, Rose, who went that way. I don't regret getting her, because she was a wonderful pet, but I wouldn't get another.
    You *can* put sunscreen on their noses and ears, the most vulnerable areas, but they're *cats*, so it's hard to stop the washing it off.

    Someone needs to explain to Kirsten Dunst that most of the stuff in the middle of the country is NOT located on the side of a highway.

    It sounds like that was the extent of her trip, which means she saw nothing but a bunch of Flying Js, Cracker Barrels and Hampton Inns. What a shitty road trip.

    Just skimming the headline I though it said "Amy's implants are demanding kittens" and I actually paused trying to figure out if you meant that she actually had demanding kittens implanted in her chest. Or that her implants speak to her and they want pet kittens. And then I reread the headline and realized where I went wrong.

    I love that Kirsten thinks that wide open spaces = poordom. There isn't like, houses 3 feet apart, or night clubs every block! These, poor impoverished people! They have gas stations and restaurants! That's it!
