    Not only North Carolina, but Nebraska's Omaha district is being predicted by even the McCain campaign to go for Obama. Nebraska is one of only two states that split their electoral votes, and this is the first time in history it's actually split. And guess what? It gives Obama 365 electoral votes. One for every day of the year!

    @ceejeemcbeegee: Thanks for the link. I just told the hubby about it and we were discussing how President Obama (I love typing that heee!) really utilized the web in the election. I am so very hopeful that he really listens to the American public in what is going on all around this nation. I know that he has seen so very much while he was campaigning but there are many that he hasn't seen that also have a voice. Those that are handicapped or so poor that were unable to travel to see him.

    I have to brag on something I found out on election night. My daughter who kept swearing that she was going to vote for McCain and thought her dad and I was absolutely insane for voting for Obama today admitted to us today that she finally did the research of everything we sent her and also read some more on her own. She said when it all was said and done when she went into the voting booth she could not vote for McCain but voted for Obama. She was so excited and as happy as we were to have him announced as our president. When he gave his speech she was crying just as hard as we were.

    Okay, right now term limits in Russia, are I believe, at two consecutive four-year terms. Is there any provision stating that Putin just can't run again in four years? Or is it like the U.S., where it's two terms or 10 years?


    The whole changing of the constitution thing doesn't make any sense in my head if Putin could just wait it out another 4 years...


    Any enlightenment would help

    @dianersb: Yeah, I was under the impression that when he stood for PM, it was well understood in Russia that it would only be for one term, then he'd be president again.
