    I still can't watch any of the clips, but did come back to the thread with one thought...


    Does this make you feel rather queasy to be in a crowd now? Because I was tonight, and had to shake hands with a lot of people, and it made me wonder if any of them had anything like these ginormous growths seeping somewhere on them. Or if it was catching.


    Yeah, medically I know all the facts but holy crap does this stuff really mess with you when you're dealing with strangers (or near strangers)!

    @pamalter: Count your blessings. I've watched some weird bio stuff because my grandma is a surgeon and as a kid I totally was her groupie.

    Uncle getting back cyst removed was one of the shows I watched. Enlightening.

    OK so I'm probably gonna gross you out, but pimple popping -heck even cysts in some cases- are de rigour in my family.

    Coincidentally, acne and cysts are also common in the males of my family.

    I was the official "back cleaner" of my dad as a kid. It just took a bunch of paper towels and some alcohol.

    I'm now a relentless popper. Mom, grandma, sister, husband ... all are subjected to my "screening".

    Okay I watched the one with the guy's neck, because I used to have pimples that produced silly string-esque oozes like that, although not in that quantity, and I find them kind of fascinating and not really that gross.


    And then I watched the first one, and I was like, holy mary mother of god, what the hell, oh shit, aaaargh, oadfo;ij;jhfad! So I'm not watching anymore because I just ate, and I'd like to keep my delicious dinner in my tummy, thanks.


    Good on you for watching things, Tracie, you've got a stronger stomach than I do.


    (Also I am thankful that I currently have the clearest, most blemish-free skin I've had since my pre-teen years. So my pimple-squeezing days are over, for now. Yay!)
