The thing I wish they would re-work about Project Runway is the insane restrictions and time limits. Plus everyone is constantly sleep deprived so creativity suffers and the designers always have to scale their vision way down. You only get a sense of how talented people actually are when you see the final runway show.

Even though I don't know much about any specific thing, I find it offensive when people who know virtually nothing about something are touted as equal in judgement to those who have spent years in their chosen discipline actively refining their knowledge every day.
Hence the comment: "My kid could have painted that!"
No, sir. He could not. That is the point.

The best part of ANTM to me is how it points out that a model is not just a pretty girl. That it takes skill and self-understanding to take good pictures over and over.

Which, without PR, sucks big elephant dicks for Parsons because the man is a natural teacher. In fact, that has been the most disappointing thing about PR is the reduction of Tim's role in the later shows compared to the first ones.
