That the HuffPo has a lot of trashy, sexist articles isn't news. It's why I don't read it.
But though it doesn't really seem like what Ham was doing in that article, the argument of "you can't criticize [sexist thing] because you said [other sexist thing]" is an ad hominem attack. Whatever points are in HuffPo's editorials about Stupak aren't undermined by the fact that the site also runs articles about that Palin porno (which was the headline that made me stop reading).
And this is why I don't read HuffPo on the regular. It's not just that it's offensive, but it's also hard to find the worthwhile articles under the stupid celebrity crap.
