I was honestly laughing out loud when I saw this. I loved it and at some points she just seemed too cute. The second time she tickled Seth, I just about busted a gut.
Sorry, not feeling it. The voice is bad Judy Holiday milks Marilyn Monroe. The jokes (were there any?) Although props for the hair (which was great), SNL's Inside Barbie's Dream House was much much better, esp with Britney as Skipper.
@LadyFabulous: hulu's horrible to the canadians for sure. but globaltv's horrible to the 'murricans. I have to wait weeks before project runway canada is available to me on youtube!
I'm going to risk censure and say that I thought the Barbie skit was kind of a dull retread. {ducks}
The voice was a solid version of the old silly-blonde trope, but that's about it. Someone else (Amy Poehler?) did a much funnier, creepier Barbie several years back.
@ritualtheory: Sue me, but I like Barbie. Why does her getting older automatically make her a boozie? Still, this was one of the better parts of last nights disappointing show, sadly.
@ritualtheory: i don't usually find kristen wiig funny. her characters all sound like the target lady to me. at least this voice sounded different. this one sounded like Marilyn monroe to me.
@KathrynwithaY loves Joan Collins: Yes! I totally love the voice. I think I'm going to periodically do that voice at work this week.
"(Place I work) this is SugarSugar. Oh? I messed up? Oh, Sugar!" (pulls whiskey out of desk drawer and awkwardly attempts to open it without using fingers).
The only SNL I watch is what you clip on here but I have to say, I chuckled at that! I love how she blew him off at the end. I'm going to take that as a smart, "Angie snubs Seacrest/interviewers" kind of poke instead of a "SNL can only think of baby jokes" thing.
Since I have had my coffee I am inclined to give the benefit of the doubt. (Plus I did not have to see Steve Martin. He just needs to stop.)

I agree. It was funny, but same old jokes. I mean, who hasn't been disturbed by Ken's anatomy for years?

I never watch the show on Saturdays, it's always too painful when things fall flat.
I prefer watching Spike Feresten, and then catching the good SNL skits online the next day or so.
