Of course she's a Jezebel. In fact, I'm having a hard time making a decision on who is cooler - her or Wednesday Addams. Wednesday is perhaps slightly ahead in my books only because I wish I could spend my time using ancient torture devices on my little sister ;)
i need support and my new year's resolution was to post more. husband and i are back to having sex (had a baby 2 months ago and there was none of that going on while i was pregnant - I wasn't in the mood), i'm not on birth control, had previously been on the patch and it made me a psycho. he pouts about wearing a condom because he says he can't feel anything and that as a result he can't keep it up. please tell me this is b.s.
@meanlittlebumblebee: i dont know, you are in a loving committed relationship, i would give a bit of creedence to his complaints. i also hate condoms (i am a female) and they reduce my pleasure in sex so i can see it doing the same for men.
the patch is really bad, a lot of women sued, it had far higher hormones than it reported. i love the nuvaring, it delivers the hormones locally. also, don't forget other barrier methods like the diaphragm and cervical cap. and there is always the IUD which still freaks me out but a lot of women swear by it!
@BuffySummers: Amen. Maybe we can get Wayne Dyer or those creepy singing women in dresses to sponsor this (sorry creepy women I respect your craft but Im more of a Etta James girl), at least maybe we can get Yan from Yan Can Cook...
Half-days suck because you're such an awesome writer, Hortense, but I recently got to thinking about how my weekend productivity is greatly diminished by Weekend Jezebel. Between this and terrifying hangovers, I don't get anything done.
Anyone else having annoying techie issues? Whenever I hit 'reply', it just sends me back up to the top of the page.
So, @Kivrin: Thank you SO much for mentioning this! Annie was my most favorite record to listen to on my Care Bear record player. I'm downloading it right now.
@Kivrin: I cleared my cookies and now I can reply! (I probably just jinxed it). Same here re: Annie. I've loved musicals ever since. Going to see one tomorrow in fact. But now all I wanna do is listen to Annie
@AtomicBellyButton: Oh I love "A Mighty Wind" totally cracks me up. In that same vein (which is on my MP3 player) I present Spinal Tarp, er I mean Spinal Tap!!!!

Annie was the first musical I ever saw (albeit in movie form), and the songs are indelibly written into my psyche, for better or worse. :)
