Wear it. I was just at a Salvation Army yesterday where there was a RACK of about 35 wedding dresses, dating from the 40's to the present day. It was a big old crash course in the fact that at the end of the day it's just a dress. Also, pics please. Also- you have NO figure flaws, sister.

Having gotten into a large argument with my future mother-in-law this weekend on the subject of wedding dresses, and having absolutely no freakin' clue what I *am* going to wear in a few months, my first thought was: "You already have a dress? Less pressure!"
The dress I want for my wedding is very, VERY specific, its the only thing I can EVER see myself getting married in. Luckily I don't think anything is going to make me need to carry it over.

When I first saw the tag, I thought "yes it's tacky!" and then I thought it was a Modern Love post, but having now read the story it is clear that you can not get married in anything else. This was a great post Sadie. Good luck with the wedding and the marriage!
