Man, I would not want to be the daughter of one of these men for all the tea in China. Not even for all the chocolate in Switzerland.

Where was the outrage from Republicans when Rush said "I hope America fails?" The man gleefully admitted to hoping that American fails (which to me means lost jobs, increased poverty, more dead soldiers, etc) so that he could say he was right about Obama.
He mocked Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's symptoms and said he was faking them. I've had family members die of Parkinson's. So you know what? Fuck you, Rush. And fuck you, Republicans, for sitting back and letting your leadership fellate this loudmouth asshole. There are good Republicans, but this fanatic loyalty to this hateful blowhard is why people are leaving.

I think "I hope the President fails" deserves a more severe word than 'douche.' Rush Limbaugh made fun of Matthew J. Fox's illness nad called him a faker.

Or, I am reading too much into it.

Dude, I know that about every other day I say "woe is me, I'm losing faith in his ability to turn this shit around!" -- but then I see stuff like this and cannot help loving him way more than is altogether healthy.
I love our President sooooo much!!!1!!

I want Obama to succeed as much as everybody else does, but the man is a politician. Healthy skepticism of our government is important, lest we let them lead us blindly down a worse path that we've already taken.

Not saying that I wouldn't be glad to see them and their oft-slimey lot crash and burn, but it would be a painful process for many more than just the insurance companies.

now those were rowdy
im so tired of them and weekly fake outrages

It seems like such a stupid strategy that could only be fueled by the need to stroke his massive ego. If that were the case, though, I'm sure there'd be a lot of big GOPers out there publicly chastising him. I don't know...I'm just so confused.

Because in the history of politics, politicians have so consistently kept it in their pants -- our moral fiber would have been torn to fucking SHREDS! As the scales fell from our EYES! And the country would have gone up in FLAMES!
Which is not to say that it might well have been a tragedy for the Democratic Party and the entire nation, as the hypocrites in the GOP might have been able to actually win the general election as a result.
But come ON. George Will opining on the tragedy of a philandering candidate? God I hate stupid shit.

And I also think, in all honesty, that he's gotten more extreme since 2000. Or more honest? Hard to tell with some of these folks.

In related news, someone from my dad's office saw Donald Rumsfeld in the parking lot of a Costco and screamed at him.

I hope they would have done it, would have said, "Hey, this guy is cheating on his wife. Run awaaayy!" But I'm afraid they would have just stood quietly by.

I wish Johnny Boy had the sense to know the affair made running a bad idea, but, like many politicians, he has a bit of tunnel vision.
