I think "Vogue" has an image of being a high fashion, specifically Western magazine. Hence, you'll see the Vogue Japan editors using "exotic" white models and publishing party pictures of Paris Hilton. China Vogue is likely doing something similar?

And Du Juan, how I love you. I learned about her from this blog that tries to feature Asian models...aptly titled:

I wore a scarf like that around my head the other day.

    People looked at me funny.

But, the laugh was on them because I was warm!

Is that really the hair and makeup team at work? They're all gorgeous and have perfectly turned-out hair and makeup. I just assumed they were models. Maybe I need to think about stepping up my work style.

I'd wear those paillette pance. I would. Really. Just very, very carefully. And not around any cats. Or dogs. Or little kids. Other than that, heck yeah.

Also, I find having Campbell on the cover far less irrirating that showing two Chinese (or Indian) models with a white model thrown in the center.

I don't ever read the international Vogues, but know a lot of Jezzies do --- aren't Italian Vogue and French Vogue a lot more Itlian or French or is this representative of Vogue everywhere? (Does that even make sense? Someone help, it's been a long day.)
