    Yeah, the OMGTHREESOME was crap and not at all what I'd been secretly hoping for. But. Anyone can say what they will about the show. I will keep watching it voraciously for Chuck Bass. Seriously, it's not just that he's unbearably hot, really. He has the most devastatingly awesome lines of all the characters. I mean, of all of them, he's the most entertaining. And I like Blair, too, because she's just so ridiculous.

    and jacob's summaries of the show on Television Without Pity are astounding. the show has some good things going for it despite josh schwartz's inability to keep a coherent plotline for more than three episodes.

    @bess marvin, girl detective: I like that Jacob puts so much work into analyzing the show (though his recaps are too long for me to read most of the time), but it bothers me that he rarely criticizes it. He gives just about every episode an A+. #gossipgirlthreesome

    The only thing I still find creepy about this show is that Serena seems to only get it on with men that are way too old. At least she's out of high school now but last year it kept driving me nuts that no one seemed slightly skeeved that all her boyfriends were post college men dating some high school girl. Even now, a married congressman with the 18 yr old? I know its not totally unrealistic given the histories of some of our politicians but its getting kinda redundant on the show. #gossipgirlthreesome

If Serena was 8 when she was in that potato sack race with Trip, he must have been 14. That is an age difference that does not make for romantic memories of a shared childhood. #gossipgirlthreesome

Like the weird artist dude who was her ex from camp or something... he was a RISD grad and she was a high schooler, what kinda camp were they going to?? 5 years isn't so different as adults but to kids thats a biiigggg difference.     @sexandphilosophy: Even Carter Baizen was a senior when they were in 8th grade (see Season 1's Lost Weekend episode). Which I guess means he'd been holding a torch for Serena since she was 13 -- and he was 18. And that's the lowest age difference between her and any of her bfs save Dan. #gossipgirlthreesome
