    The target line sounds like more hideous crap that doesn't look good on anyone. I'm so sick of 'ugly is the new pretty.'


    Re Michelle's dress last night, it strikes me that maybe it wasn't the most fashionable dress, but the claims of it being unflattering seem to be from people who don't approve of clothes that accentuate natural, womanly curves. She did not look fat in that dress, but some detractors seem to think women should cover it all up instead of emphasizing what used to be considered attractive.

    What I love about most of what Michelle wears accentuates her hips and hugs her curves. It's like she's saying: This is my waist, these are my hips... now watch me strut!

    Yea...that Chanel vid was indeed quite shallow and vapid. My only excuse is that she's young. So, maybe she's immaturely caught up in "the scene" and her head has gotten a bit bulbous. However, I also lament that because she is so young, she has a lot of years ahead for all of this to become worse. Yucky.

    McQueen for Target sounds interesting but I'm seeing some frightening words here:


    one-shouldered, color-blocked, cuffed shorts (!), skinny jeans....


    And here's hoping it doesn't look as cheap-ass as most of the Go! collection. I'm down with it BEING cheap-ass, I just don't want it to look it.

    @Lizawithazee: Phew! I'm glad someone was willing to be the dissenting voice here. I'm all fuzzy happy about McQueen, but does Target really need to have more bubble dresses, skinny jeans, and cuffed shorts to sell?

    @CandyColoredFrown: Actually, a bunch of us were dissenting in an earlier thread. I've personally given up on Go International - rarely do they design anything that can be worn by someone with hips, butt, boobs, or any combination thereof.

    Elle McPherson, does not make underwear for those of us with the bigger boobs. Everytime I go into a Bendon store, they go 'Here is an Elle McPherson bra in your size!' and I swear the cups are made my people seriously in denial that big boobed women exist. You couldn't fit them over a fist let alone a boob.
