    Guys, I'm sorry I wasn't so articulate about this in the video, but if you want to be our intern and live in the NYC area, your task is to go through each and every Pot Psych and I.D. the songs. You must be music savvy, obviously. (That's just our type.) We know that some songs will fall through the cracks of anyone's knowledge (not because we're soooooo pop savvy, but that's just how it is with brains), but even if you come back with five or 10 that you don't know, that still makes our job easier. And no, its not for anything but our own need to document. I don't know, having a list of all the Pot Psych songs seemed really important during the making of this video.


    Whomever turns around the most complete song list the quickest and sends it to potpsych@jezebel.com (and again, lives in the NYC area) will be named our intern. Talk to Tracie about credit matters, but I wouldn't count on them given the nature of this ridiculousness. But I don't know for sure. I'm just a guest. At the very least, you can count on helping us in some way that we find necessary. A sense of satisfaction will surely result!


    I'm writing this on my own volition so this may be something we don't end up actually pursuing. That's always the risk you take when you deal with people on the pot. They like to hypothesize but actually DOING often falls into meh-whatever territory. But why not give it a try anyway?

    @Richfourfour: it's because we can't remember the songs we've used and we don't want to reuse something, so we need a list. but it would also be great if the person lives in the nyc area and can make it out to williamsburg once a week and knows how to work on quicktime pro, imovie, final cut, and video compression/uploading. maybe i'll do a for real post about this on monday. this wouldn't be for money, but for college credit, or street cred.

    @Richfourfour: Rich! Your Throbbing Gristle t shirt is awesome. I had one that I used to wear to school so the kids would think I was cool and cutting edge, but no one knew who they were. If I didnt live on the opposite coast, I would love to be your guys' intern...oh well.
