I remember reading "Ball Four" by Jim Bouton that getting hit in the cup was referred to by ball players as "Ding Dong Bell", as it rhymes with "hell", and that's what it felt like. Who knew guys that regularly grab their crotches on TV and aren't known for their reticence would have such a cute code name for a shot to the nutsack? I wonder what they'd call a shot that shatters your cup and renders your scrotum useless.

I feel you, Sophie Dahl. Trying to cover up boobies, which is at times like work a must, can make one look frumpy. And when one does flaunt it you better believe they're going to get plenty of unwanted, and inappropriate, attention. Moral of the story: I can't go to gay (men's) bars or work without looking frumpy or getting in trouble.

@mervbaby: I carry a long scarf with me (even when it's warm.) That way if I'm on the subway or walking down the street and I get unnecessary attentions/prolonged stares I can cover my chest and feel more at ease.

@mervbaby: At work I started wearing bras that "lift and separate" rather than ones that give me cleavage and it seems to have made a significant difference in the way my suits/buttonup shirts fit. I leave my cleavage bras for when I don't need to be buttoned up.
(I'm a 38F, so i know the many issues, good and bad of big tits)

@tomatoheart: It does make a big difference in how your shirts fit, but I also noticed that the lift-and-separate bras are not as comfortable, and don't keep such a natural shape.

But then, my bra-finding missions usually involve just looking for something made for natural breasts.

Another issue of having big tits.

I went to H&M this morning, because I knew that the MW Collection had a shit ton of peacock feather designs and I collect peacock stuff.

I went at 11am and there were 6 pieces left. Two cardigans, three shirts and a dress. I bought a cardigan for £50 and whilst it is exquisitely beautiful, it seems on ebay I can at least double my money.

I don't get it, the clothes are nice but nothing spectacular, unless the entire fashion world has coopted my peacock obsession.
