bloody eye ball girl has been robbed WEEK AFTER WEEK. her photos are ALWAYS the best and she has never been called first. i think this is discrimination against gingers.

no redheads have ever won top model and i think its time that bloody eye girl show them what a ginge can do.

i'm still confused as to why the models all wear flats. they knock em for their outfits all the time, yet on other seasons the girls would get grilled hard if they dared to wear anything less than 4" heels.

@amywon: A couple of eliminated contestants have said the producers made them wear flats. Rubbing their shortness in seems to be a theme this season.

@Holy Carp: if you watch an entire cycle of this show in a row (im not suggesting you do it, it may lead to brain malfunctions), you will notice that tyra gives a lot of really meaningless and contradictory advice on modeling. sometimes its all about the face, sometimes its all about the body, sometimes you do this sometimes you do the exact opposite. i really think she just says crap to sound knowledgeable.

Spoiler Alert: Ladies of ANTM, if you see a big pile of fabric in the corner...it's Tyra. If you see bookcases on the other side of the room...Tyra is behind them. What's that strange looking chandelier...it's Tyra! She's hiding somewhere in the room and she will be popping out, so be prepared!

@BabyJane: Tyra is like a small child - "if i can't see you, you can't see me!" I was embarrassed for the girls who had to play along with her. Like duh, the 6 ft woman wrapped in a scarf is Tyra. She isn't happy enough with just demanding that the girls scream their heads off every time they see her - they must also pretend to be surprised!

GIFs have forsaken me, they refuse to load.

Tyra actually seemed less crazy last night than usual.
Also I think the photo they picked for best was totally BLAH. The alien looking chick and bloody eyeballs photo were way better.
What's with all the weird breakings of ANTM convention this cycle? Between kicking out Bambi eyes and having the impromptu photo judging on set... something fishy is going on.

@TurtleSpeak: I disagree! The impromtu judging on set was classic ANTM. "We are doing this for the FIRST. TIME. in the HISTORY. of AMERICA'S. NEXT. TOP. MODEL." *gasp!* commercial break. I was laughing my ass off!

And then when they went to judging and she told the judges that she'd already picked the best photo, did you see Miss J's face? TYRA'S OPINION IS THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS. Way to take the ball away from the other judges! Tyra? Less crazy than usual? I beg to differ!

Tyra tries too hard now. She was fun when she would go on Oprah and talk about how she shopped at Filene's Basement and bought grocery store cosmetics or whatever and copped to being embarrassed at a purple feathered cupcake confection she had worn to some awards thing. She was like somebody who would be your girlfriend and now she's edging closer and closer to Miss Havisham territory with a twist of Liza Minnelli.

Did anyone else think one of the models seemed alarmingly skinny? Like, intervention time skinny? They are all thin obviously and the one that has me worried is probably no thinner than most models working the real world runway, but tyra generally chooses contestants whose bodies look basically healthy and well fed. I'm hesitant to even mention it because i dont want it to be construed as body snarking, but i was really surprised by what i saw, and wonder if anyone else was as well, and i wonder if the judges will say anything about it.

I was flipping through the channels last night and I watched this for literally about 10 minutes before I realized that this wasn't a repeat from an old season. I think this means we're breaking up ANTM. It's just not fresh anymore...and I think you may need some counseling. I'll always remember the good times.

I really liked this photo shoot. Laura from Kentucky is not only gorgeous, but she is also freaking adorable. I liked her story about her grandma making her clothes-- I didn't own a store-bought dress until I was in middle school. And while Nana was a good seamstress, it did result in some Sound of Music/curtain-esque play clothes.

@curiousgeorgiana: for real! She's just so stoked to be there and i honestly feel like if she went home tomorrow, she'd just be like "That was awesome! I'm so happy I got to do that!" and go on with her life. I definitely wish she was in my life. She seems like such an infectiously positive person.

@curiousgeorgiana: Laura is cobbled together of sunbeams and funnel cakes and kitties. Ordinarily, I would hate her as I tend to be suspicious of overly happy people, but I just can't. She's simply too adorable. I want to put her in my pocket and have her with me all the time. Then whenever I'm sad, I'll pull her out and she'll say cheerful and adorable things and we'll curl each others' hair with paper towels and do whatever else it is that happy people do. Wanda Sue can come over on Sundays and we'll make pies and dresses together.
