    I wouldn't put topless or scantily clad people anywhere near an espresso machine or brewer. COFFEE IS HOT AND IT BURNS! Just ask my hands and forearms from 6 years behind a coffee bar.     whats so bad about the majority of doctors being women? I've had a women Dr. for a pretty good portion of my life and the only time it was even remotely awkward was the first time I had a physical with her and it was time for the turn the head and cough portion of it and instead of just saying that she decided to be funny and told me to whip it out.

    @whats_in_a_name: mothing is bad about it, the report is just saying that because they actually have like maternity leave and shit in the UK the NHS is going to have to rethink how it allocates shifts and working hours to be more flexible to its female workforce. which sounds like a fucking win and the point of integrating women into industry in the first place to me.

    The shops are in Little Saigon and most of the customers and waitresses, like most of the people in that area, are Vietmanese. I don't like Asian chasing creeps, and Im sure the shop gets a few, but Asian women are not being racially exploited every single time they are portrayed as sexual. Sometimes the Asian fetish card gets whipped out too fast.

    @Katxyz: I don't think the sole purpose of these places is meant to cater exclusively to asian fetishes but they are profiting from it. It's an added bonus of staffing your cafe with only half-naked asian women.

    @femputer: Not really. There's a story in this week's Phx New Times about a 14 year old girl that was gang raped on camers at a party by 4 or 5 men over the age of 18. The sheriff's dept. closed the case after they said they heard from the men that the victim had an "active" social life, despite the fact that she was a virgin before this incident.


    Maricopa County is pretty lenient on sex crimes, especially if the victim is rumored to be sexually active before the incident. Yet, if they find the end of a joint in your car they will try to send you to jail for 5-10 yrs (happened to my coworkers girlfriend).

    @taranwanderer: Exactly! I was like "bish, plz. It's only new to you-- we've been seeing them for years." Though I wonder if bikini stands are so hot up here because 9 months out of the year, there's no way you'll see a woman in a bikini outside of a tanning joint? It seems like in Florida it would just be comfortable, but I can't imagine wearing a bikini when it's 43 and raining outside.
