Uncle Joey? Oh no. I feel like someone just took a little bit of my childhood innocence and crapped all over it.

By the way - does anyone else remember Dave Coulier getting all pissy with Jordan Knight on The Surreal Life because Jordan was all like "Those Olsen Twins are HOT man". I swear I remember him getting all offended and saying something like "They're my friends" and I thought he was uncomfortable because they were really young and he'd known them since they were babies, but reading all this I'm thinking now maybe I just projected the uncomfiness or imagined it or something...

@shaliyve: When did I say 14 = baby? What the hell. I said he [Dave Coulier] knew the Olsen twins since they were BABIES. And he did. On Full House. I never said Alanis was a BABY at 14.

Babies = refering to ACTUAL BABIES PLAYED BY ON FULL HOUSE.

I was saying DAVE COULIER KNEW THE OLSEN TWINS AS BABIES and I remember him [Dave Coulier] acting uncomfortable when Jordan Knight was telling him how hot he thought the girls were. As teenagers. Not as babies.

I wasn't trying to get into some kind of Roman Polanski style debate here. Man I'm too tired for this stuff. Why does everything seem to eventually go down this road on Jezebel. Sorry to get all annoyed here, but I'm worn out with tiredness from having kids and an ACTUAL BABY. I'm off to bed.

@Penny_Esq: mad as a sack of badgers: I have to say, I agree with you, but I'll just say again, it was not my intention to go down this route with this comment! I was simply recalling that I remember Uncle Joey (err, Dave coulier) acting all uncomfortable about Jordan Knight skeeving on the Olsen twins. I thought that was ironic (not in a "rain on your wedding day" way either) NOW knowing that he alledgedly was getting a bj from a 14 year old in the back of a theatre...

OK, now I really am going off to bed. Before this DOES turn into another Polankski style clusterf*&%@. ;)

@Crabby Cakes: He said something awhile back about listening to "You Oughta Know" for the first time and thinking "Wow, I must have really hurt this person." People thought this was a confirmation of the relationship, which it certainly sounds like it is. I don't think Alanis said anything in response.

And knowing that she was only 14 and he was 29 gives that song a whole new level of uncomfortableness...

It probably was Uncle Joey. According to the almighty Wikipedia, he's 15 years older than Alanis, making him 29 when she was 14.

@Archetype: I'm really hoping to NOT run into my HS best guy friend that I was in love with that dated my best friend for 4 years tonight. I've managed to avoid seeing him in the 2 years we've lived in the same city, but he was invited to the same party the bf and I were invited to. I still get icky HS rejection feelings when I think about him.
