I am not surprised neither the BBC nor any other UK channels were interested in Tracy Ullman's show. Her shows were never that popular nor did she enjoy a cult status. But with such a large personal fortune, I doubt if Tracey will be too upset.
the whole Michael Hutchence thing makes me so, so sad. I was like 12 and watching Behind the Music about INXS and still depresses me. I hope his mom gets to see her granddaughter. Can't say I disagree with her assertions about Pink there...
Don't most people have at least one day a week without meat? We're not vegetarians in my household, but meat every day would be a) expensive and b) just too much meat.
@Imogen Quest (was Percy Bishounen Shelley): Pasta dishes, rice and beans, Greek salads... I don't see what's so hard about it, either. And anyway, the whole concept of vegetarianism came out of Britain, didn't it?
Also, having grown up in Minneapolis, I remember it being really easy to find veg options - lots of co-ops and Whole Foods around the Twin Cities. Now that I live in Norway, it is A LOT harder. Hasn't really caught on in these parts. I miss prepared hummus especially.
@Breamworthy: Agreed. I am officially confused. And WHY is Michael Hutchence's kid being raised by Bob Geldof? Obvs. she has a grandma that misses her. And did she not have a mom?
@SuperSally: Both Paula Yates and Michael Hutchence are deceased (her mom and dad), so I imagine she is being raised along with her half-sisters and their father, Bob Geldof.
@SuperSally: Her mum, Paul Yates, died of an overdose. Bob Geldof was already raising the three daughters that he had with Paula, so this way, Tigerlily got to grow up with her siblings.
@amphora: Every article I've ever read has praised Geldof to high heaven for doing what he did and taking Tigerlily in. I've always thought it was awesome. That said, she should be allowed to visit with her Grandmother and any/all other family members on her paternal side...I'm surprised to hear that they've had no contact with her.
@GeorgeFayne: She's been fucking with the media for decades. Trust, she knows what's she doing, and it's hilarious when readers who don't know much about her buy into it.
@BadenBaden: oh please yourself. does "fucking with the media" now include being desperate for press attention and then saying wildly pretentious things when interviewed?
The amusement-park rides, elephants and orangutans have been hauled away… Bats hang over the doorway to the building that housed Mr. Jackson's private arcade; guano stains the threshold." - from an update on the property known as Neverland
Am I alone in thinking this will be kick ass fodder for haunted house stories in the future?
@Dulcinea: Me too! I get sick of this whole, "but the female form is so much prettier!" argument. I can bullshit. It's just an excuse to sexualize women but not men.

The fact she said willies though kind of lost her argument. Is she 12?

And bring on the willies.
