    @Habibiti: No, haven't seen the movie. Just reacting to the trailer, in that the trailer itself is racist. Unlikely that I'd see the movie anyway, I saw the trailer before Where the Wild Things Are.

    By the way, less than a month ago, CA was going to cut all funding to shelters. You see cases like this and wonder how on earth that could even be considered, when leaving an abuser is this dangerous and shelters save women's lives.
