    I'm noticing a lot of...wrong moments...in the comment section. Particularly, body-snarking in one of the SJP posts and over the last weekend, a whole slew of body measurement talk in the post Jenna did about "curvy" models. Not to feel like a tattletale, but I thought this was being monitored and all.

    Hi, there's a segment on tonight's ABC's Nightline (12/22/09) called "Pink Stinks." It's about how everything marketed to young girls are pink and the website called Pink Stinks that says that saturating young girls with pink stifles creative thinking and make them focus too much on physical beauty.

    The key witness in the Richmond gang rape case has been missing for a couple weeks. He mentioned before that in Richmond, snitching is "something you don't do." Some of his family members believe that he was targeted by some of the suspects for doing so. :( [abclocal.go.com]

    Naomi Wolf, I am horrified!
    She writes in today's Guardian ([www.guardian.co.uk]) that Carrie Bradshaw is an icon for feminism because she and the other S&TC women, when alone, tell stories centred around men!

    So that's what feminism is about these days!

    OK, I accept that in its time the language was graphic and Samantha did say she wanted to fuck like a man (does she mean she would wank over someone's face and then fall asleep?) but surely feminism is more than talking about stuff that doesnt involve men/dicks/bad sex/good sex/toy boys/shoes/clothes ....zzzzzzz

    Eye Weekly's sex columnist on the failings of feminism in the '00s.... she says this generation hasn't made any important practical gains (she says she's not into "I choose my choice" or the personal as political), but then goes on to applaud TMI updates on the internet as a means to fight sexism.

    I'm a recovering Facebook over-sharer myself, but I don't follow how ladies blogging their "sex dirt" translates into the most important thing we can do or how it will ultimately end the wage gap. Wha?
