    Pretty Woman is harmless, imo. It's just a movie, after all. Let's not get all up in arms about a film. Either you like it or you don't, and if you don't like it then don't watch it. Easy! Also, now that y'all are talking about delishus fuud, I'm getting srsly growly in the belleh. I'd love to be at home making yummy treats today, sadly, I'm working:( Oh, and the early Thanksgiving= brilliant! Just got the Trader Joe's flyer in the mail, it's all so enticing.....

    i'm not sure what's more odd: the fact that it's a lint roller party or that this is the 15th one.

    Yeah, I'm sure every other restaurant employee is given "livable wages". That $2.15 an hour really goes a long way, doesn't it?


    You know what normal people do when they aren't given a "livable wage"? They find a different job.

    @63words: Yeah, but isn't it kind of sad that someone can work and not get a livable wage? Someone has to work in restaurants and that work is hard. Are they not deserving of a wage they can live on?

    How do your friends react when you get "floured" by PETA? Like, are they all, "Oh, stupid PETA, let me get that flour off of you!" or do they stop and wonder whether maybe the fur ain't so great?

    @TaraIncognita: I know it would probably inspire me to go get some leather... seems like flour would have a tougher time messing it up. But man, I'd hope if I were lucky enough to own osmething fur nad it got all floury that my friends would help me get the stuff out instead of just standing around.

    No, I'm no employment law expert, but I'm pretty sure NO bus boy makes a living wage from their employer because, um, they rely on tips.


    Because if I could have sued mid-range mexican chain On the Border in college I wish someone had told me!

    @TheGuvnah: I was thinking that too!! I currently work at a mid-range Mexican chain(Not OTB), and I make less than 200$ a week. I also only work two days... in horrible sections...


    Suing them would just be so much easier!!
