    Okay, so it really bugs me that Anna Wintour actually looks good and that her dress is very interesting, because she is such an unlikable person. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of Ms Zellweger, but for some reason I love her in something this outrageous!

    I am totally in favor of men wearing shorts and kilts, but they need a different shoe! not a clunky dress shoe! maybe a nice open sandal?

    @Leucadia: I'm all for the kilts. Boots seem to work best with them, but dress shoes usually seem to work. Not those ones, though. I kind of suspect socks are required as well.

    I feel the Trumps are disapproving of my office casual wardrobe as I sit here at my computer. I feel like I need to put on some purple eyeliner and 4 inch heels immediately.

    I think Renee looks awesome. Vaguely Rock n' Roll suits her a lot more than when she attempts old Hollywood glam, IMO.

    Zac Posen is wearing way too much clothing for a 90+, very humid, day in August, which is why he looks much sillier than Thom Browne or Marc Jacobs, who both look fairly ridiculous, albeit character. They should all take a page from Oscar de la Renta, who I believe is the gentleman escorting Carolina Herrara.

    Has anyone ever seen Tory Burch and Katie Couric in the same place at the same time? I'm convinced they are the same person.

    I'd bet anyone five bucks that Thom Browne spilled diet coke on his pants on his way to the award show. With the help of his driver's pocket knife, he decided to cover up the spill with avant-garde whimsy rather than go home, change, and be late to the show.

    Blimey! A real change of mood for Alexa Chung! I have only ever seen her in minis in dear old Blighty. She has now cunningly decided to opt for the completely opposite look to make herself stand out, as a relative unknown, in America.
