Senator Clinton and President-Elect Obama have very different opinions on diplomacy and the use of force in regards to our frenemy nations, like Russia, Syria, Pakistan, Sudan, etc. Moreover, they have even greater differences when it comes to out and out hostile nations like Iran, North Korea, etc. I think she will be an excellent Secretary of State, but I don't know if she jives well with this administration.
Moreover, she has been trying to reform domestic health care for nearly 20 years. Here, she has the opportunity to do it - an administration who wants health care reform (albeit not as radically as she pushed for during her campaign), a Senate near 60, a majority in the House, and a public mired in the kind of economic depression that makes the push for better health care that much easier. Leaving now seems like a mistake, when she could finally accomplish the great legislative feat of her career: finally reforming American health care.
I'm sure she'll be great as Secretary of State, but I'm really not excited about this pick.

Here's to Hillary. Here's to Barack. Here's to all of us that supported both of them. It feels good.
