    She came into my bookstore a few times and she was so warm and had such an intense presence. I was afraid because I love her writing, and sometimes writers would come in and be pretty snotty and ruin it for me, but she was wonderful.

    My roommate and I were at the same inaugural ball as she was, and hanging around backstage, but we were both too intimidated to speak to her. She's very beautiful in person, and astoundingly young-looking.

    @lurkystars: Apparently, purple has two words with perfect rhymes. "Curple" which means the hindquarters of a horse and "hirple" which means to walk with a limp. Not sure either of those appropriate.
